Exporting the DDL Script File

After generating the DDL file and saving it as a script file in the Script Repository, the file will have to be exported to an operating system file.  When the DDL script creation was completed, the application would have navigated to the SQL Scripts page.   If you are not there, simply Navigate to the SQL Scripts section in the SQL Worksho.   Figure 14.2 shows the initial screen of the Script Repository.

The right side of the SQL Scripts page will show a Tasks list for the Script Repository, as shown in Figure 14.3.   The task on this screen is to Export the DDL script to an operating system file.

1.       Start by clicking on the Export link.

After clicking on the Export link, the script to export will be selected.  HTML DB provides a list from which to choose, as shown in Figure 14.4.

2.       On the Scripts page depicted in Figure 14.4, check the checkbox next to the EasyHDB_DDL script and click the Add to Export button.

3.       After clicking on the Add to Export button, a region on the right side of the SQL Scripts page will show the scripts selected for export, as shown in Figure 14.5.  At this point, a name for the File Name can be entered, and the Export All button clicked.

4.       On the File Download page, hit the Save button and save the file to the operating system.
