Exporting Cascading Style Sheets
As familiarity with CSS grows and they are added
to applications, they will also need to be exported during the
deployment of an application. In the examples in the book, a CSS
named easy_region.css was created. The scenario below would be used
to export that CSS file.
1.
To export the CSS, navigate to the Export page as shown in
Figure 14.7 and click on the CSS tab.
2.
On the Export Cascading Style Sheets page:
-
Stylesheets: Select the style sheet(s)
for export.
-
File Format: Make a selection. Again,
I always choose Unix.
3.
Click the Export Style Sheets button.
4.
On the File Download page, click the Save button.
One thing to note is
the default filename for exporting style sheets is simply css.sql. It
is a good habit to modify this filename so it has more meaning to the
developer.
